At the Playground

We registered Kate for preschool a few weeks ago. Kate is very excited about starting school. She loves to go to the playground there.

Kate decided to walk around the house in Mark's shoes the other night.

Here is Kate the other morning when she decided to dress herself. I relly love the swimming suit with the hat and slippers.

Butter

This morning Kate asked for toast. I got the butter out of the fridge and as I was buttering her toast she started freaking out and telling me not to let it "soak in". A little while later I see Kate running by with her step stool. By the time I caught up with her she was eating chunks of butter she was scraping off with her little fingers. Turns out she didn't want toast at all, just straight butter. Mmmmm buuutterrr...

Athena's 3rd Grade Program

Athena's 3rd Grade program was last Friday. Sadly, Kate came down with pink eye that afternoon, so Kate and I stayed home and Mark went to the program. Athena is in the 3rd row back, left of center.
