Silly Kids

The weather has finally been nice enough to take all the kiddos outside to play. Here are some of my favorite little buddies last week.

Last Weekend

I am finally caught up with my posts! Woohoo!

Last weekend we had Amber and Athena here. They went for several bike rides with Grandude, which they love, and we baked sugar cookies.

We had a little get together here with some of Kate's friends. Fun for the kids and moms.

Poor Hayden, wanted to dress up with all the girls but we don't really have any 'boy' dress up stuff. He ended up with this pink pleather jacket. We called it his 'pimp' jacket.

Since Amber and Athena won't be here for Mother's Day, I got my gift early. Mark, the girls and Grandude got me a new set of stainless cookware. I'm very excited because my old pots and pans were really sad.

Mexico 2010

We went to Puerto Vallarta with my Mom and Dad, Brother and his family. We had a wonderful time and it was great to see the cousins play together. I have way too many pictures to sort through still so here are a few to start and I will get some more up later.

Amber's 11th Birthday

We celebrated Amber's 11 birthday in April. Hard to believe she is already 11. Yikes. Amber is almost as tall as I am (she's sitting in this first picture) and her feet are already bigger than mine. What happened to that little girl who wouldn't take off the Batman cape?

Grandma Nink Nink and Great Granny Martin came all the way from Georgia. We had a little party at the house, then went to a kid place called Jump Street to meet up with some of the girls' friends.

High Tea

Athena is in girl scouts again this year. Every year they hold a high tea for the girls. Linda was here, so she took Athena to the tea. It was special for Athena to get to do something like this with her Grandma.

Amber's 5th Grade Program

We went to Amber's 5th grade program. Amber did a great job with her two speaking parts. Here are a few pictures from after the show.

Easter

We had a very nice Easter. Kate was very excited to wake up and find out if the Easter Bunny had been here.

Our friends Amy, Bruce, Hayden and Allison came over for lunch and an easter egg hunt and egg painting. The kids had a great time.

New Clothes

Grandma Nink Nink sent tons of new dresses for Kate. Kate loves them all. She was so excited to open the box, and them proceeded to try on each and every dress - probably 10 total. She then ironed them all. I think I have a fashionista in training.

Kate call this dress her "Dorothy Dress". It reminds her of the Wizard of Oz.

Beauty

Kate loves to dress up these days and is obsessed with the movie Beauty and the Beast. Mimi and Papa sent her this 'Belle' dress for Easter.

Crazy Jelly Bean

Kate and her cousins, Lauren and Colin enjoy sending movies back and forth from time to time. Here is one of Kate's silly movies.

March 23rd - Snow

We got a big snow this week and were very tired of being cooped up in the house so we decided to take a walk down to the lake. Kate walked almost the whole way there and back.
