Spring is Here

Spring weather is finally here! We had a great day playing outside. Kate has been having lots of fun with Grandude (Mark's Dad) here. We took a walk down to the lake today and when we got home, Kate practiced singing some of her favorite songs.

Kate and I went to the zoo with Ami and Hayden yesterday. The kids were great and we had a lot of fun. Kate and Hayden rode in the wagon together most of the time and were so cute.

We had a nice sunny day today went outside and blew some bubbles. You can't go wrong with bubbles.

Easter

Happy Easter everyone! We had a great morning with Kate. She was so cute playing with the goodies from the Easter Bunny. Hope you all had a wonderful day.

Another Play Date

Kate's buddy Hayden came over yesterday for a play date. They are so cute together. They don't really play together yet, except for a little peek-a-boo, but they give each other hugs and kisses. So adorable! We have a zoo trip planned for next week, so stay tuned for more Kate and Hayden pictures.

Amber's 10th Birthday

Today is Amber's 10th birthday. I'm truly not sure how she could possibly be 10 already, but indeed she is. We celebrated her birthday last weekend while Linda and Neil were here. As most of you know, Amber LOVES everything horses. We had a cowgirl birthday party.

Sunday was my nephew Colin's 3rd birthday. Happy Birthday Colin, we love you!

Mark's parents were just here for a visit. They were here for Amber and Athena's spring break. We had lots of fun just hanging out around the house. As ususal when Linda comes, we got lots of snow. Thanks for a great visit Linda and Neil. We love you!

Kate has been calling Mark "green bean" lately. She thinks it's really funny. Today she decided Papa was a green bean. Love you Papa!

Catching Up

I'm getting behind, so I'm going to do a little catching up. While Mimi and Papa were here, my cousins Jessica and Laura came for a visit. It was great to see them.

Mimi and Papa got Kate a Dora dollhouse. She loves it and has played with it tons. Thanks Mimi and Papa!

We got about 16" of snow and Kate had fun playing with Papa outside.


Papa let Kate go down the snow covered slide. Wheeeee!

The big news at our house is that Kate is finally done with her paci! She informed me that, "don't need paci" I asked if she was ready to give it to the paci fairy and she exclaimed, "YES!". Kate cried the first night, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

Kate really misses her Mimi and Papa...and so do I. Thanks for a great visit!
